"Where every race tells a story, and every car has a legacy."
The Global Diecast Championship (GDC) is the ultimate competition for diecast car racing enthusiasts, bringing together 8 teams and 16 cars from around the world to compete in a high-stakes, action-packed season. Governed by the JR3 Sanctioning Body, the GDC combines the thrill of head-to-head matchups with a dynamic points system and playoff format that keeps fans on the edge of their seats.
About DGP Global
The Global Diecast Championship is a 20-week racing series split into two mini-seasons, with a mid-season break and an intense playoff finale. Each team competes to score points, claim victories, and advance to the playoffs. At the end of the season, we crown the Driver Champion and the Constructor Champion.
Races are held twice a week, every Tuesday and Friday.
Points are awarded for every finish, keeping the championship battle alive every week.
Fans are able to contribute to the racing league by making decisions for the Fan Team.
DGP stands for "Diecast Grand Prix", while GDC stands for "Global Diecast Championship". Both are the same thing, just with different abbreviations.
How the Series Works
The Global Diecast Championship (DGP) is governed by a set of structured rules to ensure fair and exciting competition. Each team consists of 3 cars: 2 active cars and 1 reserve car, with all cars adhering to a maximum weight limit of 3.6 ounces.
Points are awarded in every race based on finishing positions: 5 points for 1st, 3 points for 2nd, 2 points for 3rd, and 0 points for 4th. The season is divided into two 10-week halves, separated by a 3-week mid-season break, with races held every Tuesday and Friday.
At the end of the regular season, the top 8 cars advance to the playoffs, where elimination races reduce the field until only 4 cars remain to compete for the Driver Championship. The Constructor Championship is awarded to the team with the most points at the end of the season.
Fans play a key role by voting to select the Fan Team’s roster and name, adding an interactive element to the competition. Tiebreakers in points are determined by the number of wins, followed by the highest single-race finish.
Reserve cars can be swapped in strategically and are eligible for the playoffs if they have participated in at least one regular season race.

How It Works
Teams earn points based on race results:
5 points for 1st place, 3 points for 2nd, 2 points for 3rd, and 0 points for 4th.
The top 8 cars in points after the regular season qualify for the playoffs.
The playoffs are elimination-style, with the last-place car eliminated after each race until 4 cars remain.
The final race determines the Driver Champion, while the Constructor Champion is awarded to the team with the most points.
Teams can swap cars mid-season, using their reserve to gain a strategic edge.
Fan Engagement
Fans play a key role in shaping the championship. The Fan Team is built entirely by fan votes—choose the cars and team name that will represent you in the series. Follow the action on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube to stay updated, and join the conversation by sharing your thoughts in the comments. Be part of the championship and help decide its outcome.
